Terms of Service
Three O Five LLC d/b/a OTRSI · Terms of Service
Short version: you pay first, we send you a written fix, you apply it. If we can't find the cause, you get your money back automatically. We never ask for your passwords, and we don't do phone calls or on-site work.
1. Who we are
These terms are a contract between Three O Five LLC d/b/a OTRSI ("OTRSI", "we", "us") and the business you represent ("you"). Over The Road SI (OTRSI) is a trade name of Three O Five LLC (Alabama). OTRSI stands for Over The Road SI. Three O Five LLC is an Alabama limited liability company, a US company based in Alabama. By using the site, the free checker, or buying anything, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, and our Payment-First Policy. You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for your business.
2. What we sell
- Free EDI Reject Checker. An automated tool that runs in your web browser and decodes rejects and acknowledgments. It's provided as-is, without a warranty.
- Full Fix Report ($59 per issue; Rush $99). A written answer for one issue: the corrected segment(s) or file, or exact step-by-step instructions, plus the likely root cause and how to resend.
- Monthly plans: EDI Watch ($149/mo), EDI Watch Pro ($299/mo), Carrier IT Desk ($249/mo), and the Carrier Ops Bundle ($349/mo), each with the limits shown on the pricing page when you subscribe.
- Answering-line add-on. Setup is paid in full at signup, and the monthly fee is billed in advance.
- Expert jobs (hands-on work by an independent expert), under section 4a.
Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you pay. Sales tax is added if the law requires it.
3. Payment first
We don't start work on, review, or reveal a fix for your specific issue until your payment succeeds (or, for plans, while your subscription is active and paid). Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Details: Payment-First Policy.
4. Advisory service: what that means
- Our deliverable is text: a corrected file or segment, or exact instructions. You (or your TMS, VAN, or EDI provider) decide whether to apply it, apply it, and test it. Test in your partner's test environment first when one is available.
- We never ask for or accept passwords or remote access to your production systems. If you send us a password, we'll delete it and ask you to change it.
- We never send, change, or resend EDI to your trading partners on your behalf.
- Hands-on work (remote sessions, configuration inside your systems, VAN/AS2 connectivity, hardware, on-site) is not part of a Fix Report or plan. If your issue needs it, you choose: a full refund of your Fix Report, or an expert job (section 4a). Choosing the expert job doesn't cost you that refund.
- Fixes may be written with the help of AI tools and reviewed by a person when needed. We base them on the public X12 standards and on partner specifications that you send us or that are publicly posted. Your trading partner's implementation guide and decisions always win.
4a. Expert jobs (hands-on work)
- We act as a marketplace: we write a scoped brief with a fixed quote and match you with a vetted independent contractor ("expert"). The expert is not our employee. We arrange the job and collect payment.
- You pay the full quote up front. The payment is captured at checkout and held by the platform. No expert is offered the job until your payment is confirmed. The expert is paid from the held funds only after you confirm the work is done, or 72 hours after the expert marks it complete if you don't reply.
- Our platform fee comes out of the expert's share: 15% for founding experts during their first 90 days, 20% standard. You pay the quoted price, with no added customer fee.
- Extra scope needs a written change order, also paid up front, before work continues.
- You control access: sessions are ones you start and can end, or temporary accounts you create and disable afterward. Experts don't store your credentials.
- Refunds and disputes for expert jobs are covered in the Refund Policy and are paid from the held funds. Our liability for an expert job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
5. Your responsibilities
- Send only files and information you're allowed to share. Use the redaction option, or remove rates and personal details you don't want us to see.
- Don't send health information, full card numbers, bank account numbers, Social Security numbers, or driver's license numbers.
- Keep backups and follow your own change-control process.
- Don't use the service to break the law, attack anyone's systems, or reverse-engineer or resell the service without our written permission.
6. Turnaround
Standard fixes are due within 4 business hours (Monday-Friday, 7 AM-6 PM Central). Rush fixes are due within 1 hour (7 days a week, 6 AM-10 PM Central). If we miss the time, you get the refund described in the Refund Policy. That refund is your only remedy for a late delivery.
7. Subscriptions
Plans renew every month on the same date until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal linked from your receipts; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it; while the payment is unresolved, we pause new work under the plan. We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price increase takes effect on your plan.
8. Your data and our content
- Your files stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to deliver the service to you. We don't use them to train AI models or put them in public content. How we handle data is in the Privacy Policy.
- Once you've paid, you may use the fixes we write for you inside your business. The site, the checker, and our help pages belong to us.
- We keep what you send confidential, except as needed to deliver the service (through the providers listed in the Privacy Policy) or as required by law.
9. Not affiliated
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by X12, any broker, shipper, carrier, TMS, VAN, or software company. We use their names only to describe compatibility.
10. Disclaimers
We work hard to be right, but EDI depends on your partner's rules and your systems, which we don't control. Except for the refunds we promise in the Refund Policy, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't promise that a partner will accept a document, pay an invoice, or award you a load.
11. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows: (a) our total liability for any claim about a Fix Report is limited to the amount you paid for that Fix Report, and for a plan, to the amount you paid for that plan in the 3 months before the claim; and (b) we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost loads, detention, chargebacks, fines, late or lost payments, downtime, or lost profits, even if we were told they were possible.
12. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of files or information you sent us without the right to share them, or because you misused the service, you'll cover our reasonable costs of that claim.
13. Disputes
If something goes wrong, please tell us first through the support form, and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Alabama, and both sides agree to those courts' jurisdiction. Either side may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
14. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top and, for material changes, email active customers at least 14 days before the changes take effect. You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms; if we end a plan for reasons that aren't your fault, we'll refund the unused part of the current period.
15. Independent business; no affiliation
Over The Road SI (OTRSI) is an independent IT services business of Three O Five LLC, an Alabama limited liability company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OTRS AG, OTRS Group, or the OTRS® ticketing software. OTRS is a trademark of OTRS AG.
Carrier IT Desk is our IT support service for trucking carriers, delivered by text and email by our US team in Alabama.
